I bought this when I had a period of unusual dryness and irritation and it definitely helped me recover from that by increasing the speed of my healing, facilitating painless sex, and soothing my irritation in the short term.

Because I like that it is formulated specifically for the vagina I actually prefer it to the regular KY Liquid for use with toys or for quickies. At this point I just use it as a lubricant. It has a very slightly sweet smell, probably from the propylene glycol. I only need a little at a time so the tiny bottle has lasted ages. It soaks into the skin very well without making me feel greasy. I usually rub any excess into my skin like lotion and it always absorbs just fine.

I never noted the bitter taste until just now when I went to write the review because it never came up for me. You'll know if the taste of a lubricant is relevant to you, I suppose. Moisturizing, only need a little, soothes irritation, soaks in easily, no greasy residue.

Cons
Bitter taste if you're likely to taste your lubricant.
