Having only recently got into using Kegel balls, I was excited to try these out for the first time. Up until lately I had only ever tried cheap plastic Kegel balls (the type that are made completely of plastic except for the nylon retrieval cord). I have started investing in high quality silicone Kegel balls recently and wonder why I didn't start years ago!

The Swoon Get A Grip Kegel Balls arrived in charming mint and white coloured retro-style packaging and are described on the front of the box as being toning balls. A leaflet inside contains helpful information about the product and even care instructions. There is also information about other products in the Swoon collection such as orgasm boosting balms, massage candles and discreet bullet vibrators.

Once out of the packaging (and silver satin drawstring pouch provided for them) the first thing I thought was how sweet these looked and how well they matched the colours used in their packaging, which I felt was a nice touch. To the feel there is surprisingly little drag from the silicone material these are made of (I usually find silicone toys need extra lubrication because of the 'drag' you can get with the material). The mint coloured parts of the toy seem to be set into the silicone and are slightly textured to the feel but cannot be felt in use. As with most Kegel balls, if shook these have a deep rumbling movement coming from inside the balls as each contains another ball which moves around inside and almost creates almost a feeling of rumbling vibration within. Having listened to and felt this rumbling while shaking the balls in my hand I was excited to get testing these.

I would recommend adding a drop of water-based lube to these before getting started. (Never use a silicone based lubricant with a silicone toy.) With a small amount of lube added I found these surprisingly easy and comfortable to insert, with one push inserting the first ball and a second gentle push inserting the second.

Once inserted these are very comfortable and within minutes you wouldn't notice they are there anymore. The only time I became aware of them again would be while moving about quite a bit and the feeling from the rumbling balls was actually quite pleasant. On my first time wearing these I managed to wear them around the house for two hours and found them completely comfortable in that time.

Two hours into my Kegel session I decided it would be fun to give my husband the honour of removing the balls for me. He was delighted! I didn't know how much fun this part could be. With my Kegel muscles doing their thing and holding onto the balls, my husband had fun testing his strength against my Kegel muscles. After two swift pulls of the sturdy removal cord (one pull for each ball) it was the end of my Kegel session and the Get A Grip Kegel Balls were ready to be washed and returned to their Satin drawstring bag till my next Kegel session. I can't wait!

Material/Care Information:

Being made of Silicone, the Swoon Grip Kegel Balls are high quality, skin safe and both latex and phthalates free. I recommend using a water based lubricant with these as silicone lubes should not be used with silicone toys. It is important to wash these after each use with either specialist toy cleaner or an antibacterial soap and warm water. For storing, a satin drawstring bag has been included.

Pros
Comfortable in use and really do seem to work the Kegel muscles.

Cons
Some very slight imperfections in the material of mine.

Bottom Line
So easy to wear and I got better sensation from penetration after using these.
