Stand Alone Sex Swing Frame

First thing I will say is that the stand alone sex swing is a thing to be admired! We purchased the frame because of the thought of screwing into ceilings/door frames wasn't a good one for the swing, and as we are in rented accommodation we not really allowed to make holes in the house.

Unboxing

My first thought when collecting this from the delivery driver was 'My it's heavy!!!' I'm sure the delivery driver was very aware of my very big smirk when this arrived, but little did he know what was hidden inside.

Quickly cutting open the box I discovered neatly packaged a multitude of metal bars all of varying lengths and sizes and a small bag including nuts, bolts, alan key and an instruction sheet. At this point you really have to make sure you have a very large working space to lay out all the parts and lay them into size order as it will help later on! I also highly advise having someone to help you put this thing together as I did this myself and was not an easy feat especially as I had a small working space and low ceilings.

I could tell after I unpacked the swing frame that this is a well made product and is built like a brick house. I'm not sure of the maximum weight it can handle but from seeing the quality for myself it seemed that it could withstand quite a lot.

Starting the build

The instruction sheet is very basic, if you thought Ikea manuals have a lot to be desired then you have a surprise, it didn't help that the copy I received seemed to have been a photocopy of a photocopy of a fax of a cave drawing so the quality of the print wasn't really legible but luckily enough the frame isn't too hard to put together even without a manual.

As I said I put this frame together on my own in a tight space so it took me quite a while to put together and it didn't help that one on the bars didn't want to slide in all the way, me being a sex addict I had some trusty lube handy which seemed to do the job.

A word of warning you have to make sure that when you slide the bars into one-another that you have to make sure that they slide in all the way, as if one of them is not fully in the frame will be off center and will have a wobble.

Finishing the build

After quite a bit of blood, sweat, broken light shades and lubrication it was built, I was quite proud of it and had to send my partner in crime a photo message to tease her of what was in store for her. Just by looking at it made me want to jump on it straight away :)

The floor space the frame takes is huge! I didn't realize how much the room it would take up, it defiantly is the centre piece of the bedroom. Since erecting it I haven't dismantled it yet as how long it took me to put together even though knowing if I had help putting it back up it would take minutes. You cant really let anyone else in your bedroom or whatever room you decide you want it in when erected unless you want them to know you bedroom antics. I've not long moved into a new house and just the other day a family member wanted a guided tour of the house and I had to skip the bedroom altogether.

Attaching the swing

Now it was erected it was time to attached the swing (which I will review separately) and it went fine it attached by a simple clasp mechanism and I knew no amount of jumping on the swing wouldn't make the frame collapse as it wasn't going anywhere.

In Action

This is where the floor space the frame takes comes into action, its wide enough to give you and your partner full access without banging onto the sides not like if you attach the swing to a door frame for example it really gives you room to play as it were.

I'm happy to say after a good session the frame was a resounding success it bore the brunt of both of our weights together no problem and will be a definite regular in our sexual life.

Needs a large room and 2 people to put together easily

Great if you want to get swinging but don't want to drill any holes!
