My disfunction requires I use this aid under the scrotum to stay hard. Initially I use a vacuum pump, slipping the Lasso ready over the cylinder.

It is tricky deploying the Lasso, with the pump cylinder in place, especially if the scrotum is 'cold' and contracted, as the vas deferens can get trapped (which is bloody painful).The trick is to get it in the right position behind the testis and gradually tighten, by pulling the ends through the wooden collar, maintaining the vacuum pump. I also use a tenring (correctly sized for me) on the shaft but you have to be careful that any lube used to assist fitting the tenring (baby powder is an alternative) does not get on to the Lasso or it will slip.

Further tightening after releasing the pump, is also a good feature and helps maintain hardness when the vacuum assistance goes. Having my sex life back is fantastic. I use viagra ( on prescription) and it makes my new erection quite a bit bigger than when I could get one unaided!
