Mrs Belle saw these and suggested getting a pair to find out how they look. We did, and with Lovehoney's usual efficiency, they arrived the next working day.

The packaging is very basic: a small clear plastic pouch, with the briefs folded up tightly inside. If they were on display in a shop, you would walk right by. But the packaging is all that it needs to be, and the briefs themselves are wonderful.

Mrs Belle insisted on an instant show, and she was not disappointed. They look great, even on Mr Belle, who is slimmer that the model in the pictures. The front has a small pouch for all the tackle to nestle in comfortably, and this (after some judicious rearranging) shows your assets off nicely. They are slightly stretchy, and so hug the contours well.

The material itself, apart from the waistband, is a gorgeous, smooth, slinky material that reminds you of those shimmery leggings that were a craze back in the '80s. It's not shiny, though, and looks and feels high-quality.

When Mrs Belle was rubbing her hands all over Mr Belle afterwards, both he and she could feel everything beautifully. Better still, the material made Mrs Belle want to rub her hands over them as much as possible.

The waistband is not too tight, and the leg openings are sufficiently tight to prevent unwanted migrations earthwards. Everything is contained nicely and comfortably.

As a final endorsement, Mrs Belle has instructed Mr Belle that she expects his underwear drawer to be filled entirely with these. The only problem is the lack of colour choice: black, white, and some others would be good.
